My name is Dax. As you can see from my photo, I’m an honorary Great Dane. I’m just about the sweetest dog you will ever meet. I am really good with people, both kids and adults, as long as my introductions are slow and controlled and you let me sort of do things on my own time. I’m what they call a “nervous nellie”.
I love my kennel and consider it to be my safe place. I also absolutely adore other dogs, and wag my tail every time I’m near them. I love playing with them!
My foster mom is working with me on my leash training. Putting on the leash makes me a little nervous, but once it is on I am completely fine. I would love a home that is willing to devote the time to helping me continue to learn!
