Caring Hearts and Paws Rescue Inc. was inspired to start when our family volunteered for another rescue. We didn’t understand the severity of the innocent furbabies in need. We didn’t understand just how many dogs were on the streets, or in a high kill shelter. What WE did know is that WE wanted to do more than just open our home to a temporary furbaby in need, We wanted to help make a difference!!
We had one foster who walked in our doors with her 8 puppies and made herself right at home as if she knew she belonged. After being with us for a few months and having to watch her go through heartworm treatment, she officially became part of our family. This girl went from living on the streets, to being on a euthanasia list, to having a minor surgery after having her babies, to end up thriving, well-loved, and one spoiled little lady.
When our family made the decision to volunteer, we didn’t expect to welcome so many dogs into our home, we just knew that they needed us at that time and took in what and who we could.
When we decided to start own own rescue, We didn’t expect our kids to be fully involved, and we certainly didn’t expect the love and support we have had from so many people around us.
It’s because of the love and support we have received from so many that push us to continue. It’s because the compassion and love that spreads like wild fire that helps make a difference!
Because of the love and support from so many, the compassion to want to make a difference in rescuing a furbaby… TOGETHER, WE have saved over 160 fur-babies in our first year, and currently over 370 because of EVERYONE!
Not only have we seen our foster pups and dogs flourish just from being loved, but we have also gotten so many overwhelming stories about just how well they are living in their new homes.
Because we are blessed for the wonderful people we work with, the love and support from so many near and far, This JOURNEY has been so rewarding to be able to share it with so many. There is no way we would be able to do this journey alone and we are so very GRATEFUL and APPRECIATIVE for EVERYONE that has shared some love, adopted a furbaby, donated, or became a part of this family!
Our Mission is to help save as many furbabies our hands can handle. To give them the chance to live the rest of their beautiful lives not only knowing what love is but being part of a furever family!
