Doggone it! MJ is looking for a new home!

 

This beautiful fella rocks at being a busy beaver. He still has some of that puppy energy and would love a home with an active owner that enjoys play time, especially the game of fetch, which is MJ’s most favorite. Sometimes that silly puppy energy causes a little mischief though too. Silly things like nibbling at shoe laces is a behavior not everyone appreciates as much as MJ does. 

 

Mr. MJ is great with kids as long as they can keep up with his fun personality. He can be a nervous nellie around new or unfamiliar people so slow, controlled introductions would be key. A home with other dogs is a no-no for MJ as he has shown aggression towards fellow canine housemates. He has been boarded before and had no issues aside from his puppy antics not always being well-received by other dogs. He has not been exposed to cats.

 

Leash walking is okay, depending on who the handler is. Trust is important to MJ and if he doesn’t trust who is walking him, he will try to pull or even just park his rump. He is crate trained and housetrained.

 

MJ is a sweet boy. He will thrive in a home where he can be the solo pet and soak up all the play time a family has to offer. He has the endearing active personality of the flat-coated retriever coupled with the loving Great Dane temperament that bonds closely with his human family. Let’s get MJ to his new home! Fur-reals!
