Caring Hearts and Paws would like to welcome Miss Lacy.
The Blue Lacy breed is a game dog and in the herding group. They are great for hunting since they are a mix between a Greyhound/Scent hound/coyote. Lacy was brought to a rescue in Louisiana by a good Samaritan because she had a hurt leg and what they thought was bad "worms".
Those "worms" ended up being babies and they were born on December 2nd. The rescue is thinking she may have been hit by a car and left. The leg was already healing when she was brought in and she has since recovered.
Lacy is a sweet girl who loves attention and treats. She is playful with the other older pups at her foster home. She even gets along with cats.
Lacy is up to date with all vaccines and spayed. If you are interested in adopting this loving mama, please fill out the application. Please visit our website www.caringheartsnpaws.com to learn more about this amazing pet and to see other available dogs .
